The Citizens of Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg & Stroud Township are currently seeking residents interested in helping keep our communities safe.  For details on becoming a Crime Watch member contact Charlie Lasher at 570-421-3543.

Crime Watch meetings are held the last Wednesday of every month at SARPD Headquarters in the meeting Room. Interested persons are encouraged to attend.

The following are the eligibility requirements:

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

• Candidate must reside within the city limits of Stroud Township, Stroudsburg or East Stroudsburg.

• Candidate must complete an application, and pass the background check. Candidate must agree to a yearly or periodic background check.

• Candidate must participate in training before patrolling. 

• Candidate must abide by all policies and procedures of this program.

NOTE: Crime Watch is a program run by concerned citizens in our communities. While SARPD prides itself on working hand in hand with the communities it serves, SARPD does not manage, oversee or accept responsibility in any way for the activities of Crime Watch Members.
